Years training: 5 years 8 months

Proudest achievements: Competing at the Junior and Senior World Championships as part of the Australian team and receiving my blackbelt.

People I look up to: In life I look up to my parents as they are hardworking, dedicated and always go above and beyond for my brother and I and also how kind and helping they are when others need help. In sport I look up to Bianca Walkden - Over 73kg World Champion and olympic bronze medalist and Jade Jones - under 57kg 2x olympic gold medalist. All of these people in and out of sport I aspire to be like.

Advice for beginners:
• Never give up no matter what challenges you face
• Don’t get frustrated if you can’t do something as it takes time and comes with practice.
• Believe in yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you don’t understand how to do something.
• Most important have fun and enjoy the process.

Goals:
My ultimate goal is to represent Australia at the Olympic games.
My current goals are to qualify for senior world championships 2019 and to receive another podium finish overseas in the next 6-12 months.
